Oh dear, he’s a post that really does emphasise how dangerous it is for people not to take backups of their data. Backing up your data properly means you’ll never need a data recovery company but of course, not many people do backup their data.
My phone froze so I turned it off to put it back on. But then it wouldn’t come back on. Since then I haven’t been able to access the phone. I have not reset the phone so all my data is on there. I lost my photos which is the main thing I want back. It’s an iPhone 6 and it’s now in recovery mode. Is there a way to get my data back
500GB Seagate drive (Maybe 10 years old). Wouldnt power up (no noise), removed from external caddie and placed into a another one, no luck with any power. has about 250gb data on it mainly photos and videos (family memories 😦 ) Looking for options you think are available to be and cost implications on average.
Seagate external drive – has been working fine with MacBook Pro (as external storage and regular back-ups). Suddenly not showing up when plugged into Mac. Have changed cable with other external drives (which work and show-up in finder). Drive does not make any odd sounds and operation light illuminated.
Hospital doctor. Research laptop which is a Dell laptop with 1 tb hard drive used for analysing imaging data with a software called PMI. Recently computer unable to turn on, with black screen and error message. Not able to boot up.
We took computer to the hospital (LGI) IT service who said the operating system was corrupted and the hard drive had a partitioning problem. They tried to sort this however we are still unable to retrieve all files as all my imaging raw data is not available currently. They unfortunately then encrypted the laptop without our consent my mistake and I am in the process of re-doing this and unencrypting this. Once I have done this I was hoping to seek your advice on whether you can try to extract the data I need from the laptop which currently appears lost. The data is all anonymised imaging data that we have spent >100 hours analysing and shamefully we did not back most of this up hence why we are so desperate to retrieve this.
Drive was from inside an enclosure, enclosure was dropped, drive wont stay spinning
spins for 10 seconds upon connection, then powers back down
I have a WD external hardrive with model number
Bought approx 8 years ago. It has suddenly stopped working in that it is no longer recognised by my PC. I have plugged it into my laptop and the issue remains the same.
Took it to a phone / laptop repair place at top of Church Street – they said it was beyond repair and they couldn’t retrieve the data but would like a second opinion if possible. I understand if the files can be copied from it onto a new device I’d have to supply this.
Please let me know if this is something you could have a look at ?
I plugged my iPhone 6 into my laptop to sync it with iTunes and then import my photos and videos, but before I could do that, iTunes asked me to update the iOS. I clicked yes and then the update malfunctioned. I followed the instructions at https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203122 but my phone will not work and has ‘support.apple.com/iphone/restore at the top of the screen and then the iTunes logo. It’s wants me and to restore it which I do not want to do as I have very important and sentimental photos and videos and restoring will clear all data. Are you able to recover the photos and videos? The number I have provided is my mother’s, if you could please give her a call as I will be at work without a working phone and tell her if it’s something that you can do and how to go about it and a quote for the work.
I would like my iPhone 4 recovered from when I have run a full factory restore on it, specifically contacts and what’s app messages/info
My husband drowned his iphone in the sea and it had all our holiday photos on it. It has not been connected to the iCloud as we’ve been abroad. Would you be able to recover the photos from the water damaged phone? It’s been drying in a box of rice and no attempts have been made to turn it on or charge it.
I have an iphone 6 which has a broken screen. I have mistakenly tried to unlock my phone too many times in order to back up all data to my macbook, however the phone is now disabled and asks me to connect to iTunes. If I proceed with a new screen repair, I will have to restore all my settings and know that the phone memory will be deleted. Should I proceed with the repair, is there any way that you could recover the photos, messages, contacts etc on my phone once a restore has been completed?
It seems obvious to me that many people have having to lose their data on the iPhones when they break.
In this post we look at getting the data off of broken mobile phones, with 4 real examples of data loss
Using husbands phone no as own phone broken and I can’t get info off it. It’s a Samsung s6. What’s the likely cost and timescale to get data off it if it is actually possible?
I would like to recover my photos from my non-functioning iphone 5s.
The device won’t turn on. It gets stuck at the apple logo and then goes black. Apple store/local phone repair store couldn’t fix.
I am writing to inquire about retrieving documents and photos from my LG G4 phone (a Hong Kong variant).
There is no water or physical damage to the phone. It just suddenly couldn’t function since yesterday. It goes to a black screen for 1 second and then to the screen which you would see when the phone is booting normally, But, it freezed there and the phone could not be switched off. So I took out the battery and put it back in to see if it works. I have tried several times, it didn’t work.
Could you still extract the files from internal memory in this situation? If so, how should I proceed? Thank you. Please kindly reply me by email tonight or tomorrow morning before 9am.
HTC one m8. Phone powers up but won’t boot, just stuck on the HTC one logo. Have tried all the recovery programs I could find but nothing will detect the phone when plugged into the computer
